COATEMA stands for high quality coating, laminating and printing plants and is successful for more than 40 years. It offers equipment solution for laboratory R&D, for pilot plants and custom made production equipment. The company is a leading supplier of variable multifunction coating plants with many economic advantages (e.g. the modular Click&Coat^® technology), do their own R&D in important application fields, hold patents for pioneering solutions, and have been awarded with innovation prizes.
Coatema has Europe’s largest lab for R&D in coating technology and is able to offer know-how, full service solutions to control whole production processes. The unique combination of expertise and facilities makes them first choice to successfully work on the project tasks with respect to inline coating and pilot line production.

Within the SUPERSMART-Project Coatema’s task is to adapt and improve existing industrial printing processing tools. Coatema also has a big expertise and know how in coating technologies and is therefore a valuable partner within this project.
